This whole Tristyn Bailey situation really makes me sad. The poor girl was only 13, can’t believe her life was taken to short by her own classmate. No parent should have to experience this, especially on Mother’s Day. My heart goes out to her family.— ❥♍︎ (@Cheerbitter) May 11, 2021

Shortly after, fourteen-year-old Aiden Fucci was charged.
The two went to the same school and grew up in the same neighborhood - but the motive for the murder remains uncleaer.
But another chilling part of the investigation has also surfaced.

Shortly after the arrest, Fucci sent a bizarre and horrifying Snapchat while in the back of the police car.
"Hey guys has anybody [sic] seen Tristyn lately," it reads.
