The tea is hot today, ladies and gentlemen!
Lil Kim has called out 50 Cent after he shared a meme comparing her BET award show look to an owl.
The forty-six-year-old rapper performed at the awards show last Sunday as part of a Queen Latifah tribute, wearing what looked to be a white hood with angular blonde bangs poking out from underneath. Not her best look, one might say, but at least it turned heads, right? Well, it certainly turned 50 Cent's head as he shared a now-deleted meme which took a snippet from Lil Kim's performance and compared it with a shot of a white and beige owl.
"Who did this s***," he wrote in his caption. "This ain't right. LOL."
Of course, the picture immediately went viral, so viral in fact, that Lil Kim and her man saw it and responded to the rapper's insulting comparison. And let's just say, they did not hold back.
Firstly, her partner slid into the comment section and said: "Leave my wife out the Jokes Ya heard," and if that wasn't enough, Lil Kim herself took to Instagram, reposting the picture with a damning caption. She slammed the "In Da Club" singer, writing:
"I ain't bothered not one bit. My family & friends more mad than me."
She continued: "S*** like this don't move me one way or another cause I'm still a bad b**** that n****z b*****, mommies, daughters, and aunties still want to be till this day and I love it!!"
And it didn't end there... She went on to explicitly tag 50 Cent saying: "@50cent I see u still in ur feels about that dinner date u asked me on that I had to turn down. Let it go u have a beautiful girlfriend, I have a loving husband. Let it go." Big yikes.
"And for those of u coming at my husband, Mr. Papers, he did real n**** shit. What a husband is suppose to do. All y'all can go to hell. Not Respectfully," she concluded before plugging her upcoming memoir at the end.
The 2 rappers have always a love/hate relationship. In the past 50 Cent has made fun of Lil Kim's cosmetic surgeries and even referred to them in songs of his including "Love Me" and "Piggy Bank." But then it seemed as though the pair buried the hatchet as they collaborated together. One minute it seems as though they're getting along, even featuring on each others' tracks, but the next, they're sharing insulting memes unprovoked. If this was a 90s chick flick, they would have fallen in love by now but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.
Lil Kim wins this battle, but the war is far from over...
