Now, Ashley Cain is best known for a wide array of things.

Hailing from Nuneaton in the U.K, Ashley has enjoyed a career in professional football and reality television.

He's perhaps best known for his appearance on shows such as MTV's Ex On The Beach...

And, of course, The Challenge.

The reality star has a huge online presence...

And his fans were left delighted last year when Ashley announced he and his girlfriend, Safiyya Vorajee, were expecting their first child together.

The couple's daughter, Azaylia Diamond, was born on August 10th, 2020...

And it's clear that they were completely smitten by their new arrival.

But just 8 weeks after Azaylia was born, complications began to arise.

The little girl was diagnosed with leukemia, an extremely aggressive form of cancer.

Taking to Instagram to announce the tragic news, Ashley wrote, "I found out my beautiful daughter Azaylia Diamond Cain got diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of leukemia which has come with many complications. Mummy and Daddy love you princess LETS GO CHAMP You CAN and you WILL beat this!"

However, regardless of the grim diagnosis, Ashley and his girlfriend remained positive...

And they would regularly update their Instagram followers with their daughter's progress as she underwent chemotherapy and other forms of aggressive treatment.

Azaylia was thankfully able to spend her first Christmas at home with her mom and dad...

But this small glimmer of hope wasn't a sign of what was to come.

Azaylia hasn't been responding well to her treatment...

And earlier this week, Ashley took to Instagram to break the news that everyone has been dreading.

People have been left utterly heartbroken by his emotional video...

Posting a heart-wrenching video, Ashley explained what he and Safiyya had gone through in the last week.

"So last week we had the bone marrow test and the lumbar puncture and bloods taken to send to Singapore in the hope that they could create therapy to save Azaylia's life," he said.

"Then, we had to have a CT scan on her head and the results came back the next day, saying that Azaylia's got 2 very big tumors ... on her brain."

He continued as he held back tears:

"They also said that the chemotherapy that is usually given to treat leukemia in the spine or the brain will not be available because she has too much pressure with these tumors. If they tried to go through the spinal tap it would kill her. At that point, our world came down."

"Consultants said that they think she's only got 1, 2 days to live, it could even be that night," he then explained.

Ashley then said that he and his girlfriend decided to take their little girl off her pain relief when they took her home as she "wasn't really here properly"...

The decision amazingly saw Azaylia brighten up immediately, and the family renewed their hopes that they could get her to Singapore for treatment.

The couple even set up a GoFundMe page in a desperate bid to raise funds for Azaylia's expensive treatment in Singapore...

With more than £1 million being raised for the little girl.

However, more bad news was to follow as the couple was told this week on April 7th that doctors in Singapore would not be able to do the treatment as her disease is too rare...

Leaving them out of options. Ashley added in the Instagram video that they had taken her home again to enjoy any remaining time they have with her.

"She's one in a trillion, but unfortunately so is her disease."

"We're going back home and we're gonna try and make our baby as comfortable as possible," Ashley said through tears.

"We're gonna be strong, and we're gonna go out with honor. She's had a tough, tough life. From 8 weeks old she'd been in hospital having chemotherapy, operations, transplants. And I feel like for the last part of her life, I just want to take her home, see her as a baby and give her the best rest of her life that we can give her."
