And this stress can sometimes get to a person's head, creating a monster we never even knew was there.

Even though this stress is relatively normal...


Some brides are known for letting their big day go to their heads.

But, in some instances...


The bride isn't the one at fault.

Sometimes, it's the behavior of the wedding guests that can turn downright ugly.


Whether it's over the food served at the venue or the dress code, some guests can become a little bratty when wedding cheer and liquor are thrown into the mix.

Yep, instead of their guests toasting their marriage and sharing their special day with them...


Some couples are lumbered with difficult family members who seem dead set on spoiling their happy day entirely.

And, for one couple...


It was a disgruntled aunt who scribbled a furious message over their carefully packaged RSVP wedding invitation.

Taking to Reddit, the couple shared a picture of the defaced invite...


And explained their heartache over the drama.

Of course, the Reddit community had a lot to say about their aunt's heated response...


The bride, who has remained anonymous, firstly clarified that due to pandemic restrictions, they were having to limit the number of guests...


So her Aunt Edith's longterm boyfriend, Uncle Danny, wasn't invited.

Well, Aunt Edith didn't take too well to her boyfriend being axed from the list...


And she decided to voice her distaste all over their invitation.

"All because I didn't put her boyfriend's name on the invite."


The bride shared the photo of the invite, in which Edith had scribbled the words "most rude and hurtful" and "family shouldn't separate family!"
