The hit children's TV show, Blues Clues recently received wide-spread praise for their decision to include LGBTQ+ terminology in their rendition of the alphabet song. Well, this June they have released another song celebrating Pride via a virtual parade and the internet is sobbing at how cute it is...
Here's the full story...
Blues Clues has had the internet in tears over their new song commemorating Pride, featuring a parade of animal families.

And people are going crazy for the representation shown by the children's show.
Now, this kind of news has been a long time coming.
For centuries, the LGBTQ+ community has been wrongfully discriminated against, meaning that people who identify in such a way haven't felt the confidence to come out and embrace their true selves.
But, as the years have trickled by...
The fight for acceptance and equality has grown.
Since the birth of Gay Pride in 1969, millions have marched for gay rights...
And the movement is showing no signs of slowing down today.
We've come a long way.
Here in the States, the LGBTQ+ community is bigger and prouder than ever before.
In Congress, we now have a number of openly-gay and trans congressmen and women...
And, in 2015, the Supreme Court ruled same-sex marriage as a legal right across the country.
Obviously, this was a landmark moment in the community's fight for equality.
Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote that the plaintiffs asked "for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right."
Fast forward 6 years and the community is thriving...
The inclusivity was recently taken a step further by none other than a hit children's TV show.
As stated earlier, Nickelodeon's Blues Clues has received wide-spread praise for its LGBTQ+ friendly version of the alphabet song.

Well, Blues Clues has continued to impress the LGBTQ+ community this week.
They have just released a new song and the internet was overwhelmed once again by the cute graphics and inclusivity.
To celebrate June as Pride Month, there would usually be massive parades across the world commemorating Stonewall and revisiting issues, which still plague the community.
In 2020, despite it being 50 years since the first parade, many countries couldn't celebrate due to the pandemic. However, New York City remains the flagship parade, with millions joining the march every year.
Now, the children's show has taken the Pride parade and created a song to educate children.
And honestly, it's so cute...
With the help of Drag Race Alumni Nina West, the song has been a huge hit.
Recorded to the song of 'The Ants go Marching', the song features floats with different families represented through the use of animals.
The parade features transgender, gay and lesbian couples with children.
With Nina West represented as a cartoon MC holding a microphone with a little hand symbol which was used recently during the Black Lives Matter movement. The logo has been used within many protests to signify unity for a cause.

The best thing bout that Blues Clues Pride Parade is that's going to teach so many queer kids that they aren't alone, that there's love for them, & just in general let them know it's okay to be queer & that you're not broken or weird because of it.— 💜𝓙𝓮𝓻𝓲 𝓡𝓸𝓼𝓮💜 (@JerichoR0se) June 1, 2021
