Following her announcement to run for governor of California, Caitlyn Jenner has spoken of her fear over the direction of the United States under the Biden Administration...
And she's made her ambitions very clear.
Read on to hear what she had to say and how people haven't been impressed over her comments...
Now, Caitlyn Jenner has made quite the name for herself over the last few decades.
Starting as an Olympic champion, Caitlyn became a cemented figure in Keeping Up With The Kardashians as the placid father-figure to the world-famous sisters.
But she was well and truly thrown into the spotlight in 2015.
The former athlete announced to the world she was transgender and would be beginning her gender transition.
She even launched her own reality show titled I Am Cait, chronicling her journey throughout her transition.
2 years later, in true Kardashian-Jenner fashion, she went public on the cover of Vanity Fair.
She underwent her final operation - the gender-reassignment surgery - in 2017.
In her debut Vanity Fair interview as Caitlyn, she explained how liberating it felt to finally be open as a woman:
"I have nothing left to hide. I am kind of a free person, a free soul. Up to this point, I would wear, you know, Bruce would wear sweatshirts with hoods on them so paparazzi can't get pictures and all that kind of crap."
It's been almost 6 years since Caitlyn came out as transgender...
And there's no denying how far she's come since.
Cait prides herself on using her celebrity status to spread a positive message of tolerance...
And she's super passionate about being an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community... especially when it comes to transgender children.
But it seems as if the star is ready for a slight career change...
Our campaign will be powered by everyday Californians who deserve leadership that is accountable to them, not the special interests in Sacramento.— Caitlyn Jenner (@Caitlyn_Jenner) April 23, 2021

Because last month, she announced she would be running for governor of California.
According to reports, Caitlyn has already put together a team that includes some of former POTUS Donald Trump's advisers.
Of course, the news of her bid got the entire world talking...
But not everyone was so impressed with her aspirations to become a politician... especially due to the fact that Caitlyn is openly Republican.
We are poor and sick. WE DONT NEED ANOTHER CELEBRITY POLITICIAN.— its all peaches and cream (@mangodelishh) April 23, 2021
Omg you have to be kidding me. I’m not even a California resident, but I will happily campaign AGAINST YOU. Not because you are trans, but because you are wholly unqualified.— Jeff Miller (@jmiller224) April 23, 2021
Hell No! I have nothing against Cailyn Jenner, but she will be dragging Kardashian baggage along with her. There's no way in Hell, I'll vote to bring Kardashian Bullshit anywhere near state government.— Wynd-DL (@DamienLepescue) April 23, 2021
The last thing we need is another unqualified reality TV celebrity in office! We’ve had enough.— Shawn (@Shawnjl) April 23, 2021
I just donated to Gavin Newsom for California Governor.— Monsieur Cadieux (@2LsInSyphilis) April 23, 2021
Caitlyn, Republicans don’t like trans people and to be honest, I’m tired of celebrities thinking they’re good at governing - look at the former guy. Plus, you’re a Kardashian. I’ll pass.
Hard pass.— Brianna Westbrook (@BWestbrookAZ8) April 23, 2021
You voted for Trump, and he systemically dismantled what little trans rights and protections we had in place.
You didn’t say a word until after the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act was passed.
Between you & the Kardashians, you have enough money to self fund & avoid grifting off people like most Republicans. That aside, YOU are 💯 unqualified, voted for Trump knowing he hates the LGBTQ community & society doesn’t need Kardashians in politics.— JK Weston (@WestonJK) April 23, 2021
You couldn’t lead your own family, what makes you think you’re fit to lead a state economy the size of California’s!— Jacquie (@MTorganizer) April 23, 2021
Well, regardless of the criticism, Caitlyn has a very strong vision about the future of a Jenner-governed California...
And she started last week by telling a TMZ reporter about her views on transgender girls competing in sports.
"I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls' sports in school. It just isn't fair. And we have to protect girls' sports in our schools."
Of course, her comments didn't go down well with the people of California...
And the hopeful governor-to-be seems to have just burned her bridges even more with Biden supporters by slamming the president's current administration.
"Biden, I don't think I've agreed with anything," Caitlyn told Fox News' Sean Hannity on Wednesday.
"I don't think, since he's been in there, he has done anything for the American worker, maybe other ones. So, it is a 180-degree turn in our country, going the other direction, and it scares me."
"What I liked about Donald Trump is, he was a disruptor."
"He came in and shook the system up, OK? A lot of people didn't like that in Washington, D.C., but he came in and shook the system up," she said.
"I think he did some things that I agree with, some things I didn't agree with... on trans issues, LGBT issues. I was more hopeful at the beginning. But there were some good things he did."
