Candace Owens has well and truly ripped into Chrissy Teigen by unearthing more of her "disgusting" past tweets in the wake of Courtney Stodden outing the model for bullying and sending death threats...
And she has slammed Chrissy as a "massive, disgusting hypocrite."
Read on for the full, explosive story...
Now, although Chrissy Teigen is a very much-loved figure...
The former model has proven to have been rather controversial in the past.
Chrissy, who is married to John Legend and is a mom of 2, makes her opinions very well known on Twitter...
And some of her eye-opening tweets have landed her in some serious hot water on several occasions.
Chrissy has been slammed many times in the past for her "tone-deaf" tweets...
Especially during difficult times like a global pandemic.
In the middle of last year's lockdown, Chrissy took to Twitter to explain how her mom treats her $200 Apple AirPods like they're disposable...
imagine tweeting this thinking you’re being quirky and funny.. I’m so tired of bird brain celebrities https://t.co/LHOYm6p1Uk— h_ (@houseofhazel) November 8, 2019
And her supposed joke really didn't go down well with her fans; many of whom were struggling financially thanks to the pandemic.
In the last decade, Chrissy has been called out on numerous occasions for making fun of and being cruel about other famous figures...
Such as suggesting Lady Gaga isn't a woman, shaming Mariah Carey when she was pregnant, and ridiculing transgender contestants on America's Next Top Model... just to name a few.
She has also been accused of being a bully on numerous occasions...
And some of her past tweets certainly back up these accusations.
The most recent accusations came from TV personality Courtney Stodden.
Chrissy was forced to issue a public apology earlier this week to Courtney after some seriously concerning past tweets and DMs resurfaced.
Courtney attracted negative media attention in 2011 after marrying a fifty-year-old acting coach at age sixteen - a relationship they say they now realize they were groomed into. Courtney told the Daily Beast that on top of some cruel direct tweets, Chrissy sent private DMs encouraging them to kill themself.
"I'm so sorry, Courtney. I hope you can heal now knowing how deeply sorry I am."
I have tried to connect with Courtney privately but since I publicly fueled all this, I want to also publicly apologize. I’m so sorry, Courtney. I hope you can heal now knowing how deeply sorry I am.— chrissy teigen (@chrissyteigen) May 12, 2021
In her apology thread, the model described her past self as "an insecure, attention-seeking troll," adding that the shame and embarrassment she feels is nothing compared to the way she made Courtney feel.
"I am so sorry I let you guys down," she added to her followers, "I will forever work on being better than I was ten years ago, 1 year ago, 6 months ago."
Courtney responded to Chrissy's apology with this Instagram post:
"I accept her apology and forgive her. But the truth remains the same, I have never heard from her or her camp in private. In fact, she blocked me on Twitter. All of me wants to believe this is a sincere apology, but it feels like a public attempt to save her partnerships with Target and other brands who are realizing her 'wokeness' is a broken record."
Although Chrissy apologized for her past actions, fans were left disgusted by the cruelty and negativity she showed to Courtney...
chrissy teigen is a real-life mean girl who has always found joy in being completely rude, dismissive & out-of-pocket towards literal minors (courtney stodden, quvenzhané wallis) towards children as a full-grown mother of 2 & then has the audacity to turn around & play the victim— indica sun sativa moon hybrid rising (@stargirlheaven) May 11, 2021
And many feel that the famous mom has shown her true colors.
I have never liked Chrissy teigen. I remember seeing all the Courtney stodden drama and being like wow this is horrible. To know now that Chrissy was bullying and sending death threats to a 16 year old who was getting groomed is absolutely disgusting. pic.twitter.com/YzLaNpfaXU— kitty (@turnipkween) May 11, 2021
If I had said to Greta Thunberg what Chrissy Teigen said to Courtney Stodden at age 16 I wouldn’t be allowed on Twitter.— Eliza (@elizableu) May 13, 2021
What’s wild about the Chrissy Teigen tweets is that she was 26/27 at the time she harassed 16 yr old Courtney Stodden. Imagine harassing a high schooler at that big age? Telling a literal child to harm themself? No ways that’s weirdo behaviour even by 2011 Twitter standards— Ann Marie Lastrassi stan (@naledimashishi) May 13, 2021
Chrissy Teigen has a special place in hell for bullying a literal child who was being abused that woman is indefensible. Courtney Stodden's ordeal is an indictment on how abusive rich powerful people abuse their victims publicly while the elite support it in broad daylight!— America The Ghetto (@LizzMurr56) May 11, 2021
Is the fact that Chrissy Tiegen gleefully participated in the online celebrity bullying culture she now loudly criticizes gonna factor into her apology at all, or no..?— Paul McCallion (@OrangePaulp) May 12, 2021
Chrissy Teigan gets a kick out of bullying/traumatizing children + I could never get down with that.— 𝕮𝖔𝖚𝖗𝖙 𝕶𝖎𝖒 💥 (@TheCourtKim) May 11, 2021
So, as you can see, Chrissy's name has certainly been dragged through the mud this week.
And now, things have just gotten worse as Candace Owens has decided to weigh in on the situation.
Now, we all know Candace Owens for being notoriously right-wing and outspoken...
And the political commentator certainly isn't afraid of voicing her opinions.
Following Chrissy's apology, Candace decided to take to Twitter herself and shed some light on the ugly situation.
Donald Trump was censored off the internet for writing nothing even remotely violent.— Candace Owens (@RealCandaceO) May 11, 2021
Chrissy Teigen told a then-16-year-old to commit suicide, and that she couldn’t wait for her to die— and is allowed to keep all of her accounts.
Reminding her followers that former POTUS Donald Trump was banned from Twitter for "writing nothing remotely violent," Candace pointed out that Chrissy was allowed to keep all of her social media accounts after telling a sixteen-year-old to commit suicide.
She then pointed out how contradictory Chrissy was to defend Meghan Markle's claims of suicidal thoughts...

She just forgot to mention that she uses social media to encourage teenagers to kill themselves. https://t.co/HfNMpxOmDy
While she was "encouraging teenagers to kill themselves."
Candace then started pulling up some of the 2011 tweets Chrissy sent to Courtney.
Everything about Chrissy Teigen’s record on social media indicates mental derangement but telling a 16 year old girl that you fantasize about her being dead?— Candace Owens (@RealCandaceO) May 11, 2021
That takes the cake.
Why does @Target sponsor this trash? pic.twitter.com/PjWy4E4zIz
"Everything about Chrissy Teigen's record on social media indicates mental derangement but telling a sixteen-year-old girl that you fantasize about her being dead? That takes the cake. Why does @Target sponsor this trash?"
And then, the political personality discovered a range of disturbing tweets from Chrissy's past...
Another @chrissyteigen suicide tweet. This time dedicated to Lindsay Lohan.— Candace Owens (@RealCandaceO) May 12, 2021
Isn’t John Legend’s wife just SO FUNNY when she encourages self-harm?
All of you celebrities are massive, disgusting hypocrites who treat people like dirt. https://t.co/gzh6k7zta1
Including one sent to Lindsay Lohan in 2011 about her "slitting her wrists."
"Another @chrissyteigen suicide tweet. This time dedicated to Lindsay Lohan. Isn't John Legend's wife just SO FUNNY when she encourages self-harm? All of you celebrities are massive, disgusting hypocrites who treat people like dirt."
Candace then revealed another disturbing tweet from Chrissy - this time, aimed at Sarah Palin.
"Chrissy Teigen also pleaded with Sarah Palin to commit suicide by shooting herself in the face. @target is still carrying her products."
What do you think about Chrissy's old tweets?
Do you think her apology is enough? Or do you think she should face disciplinary actions for her words?
