Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's Son Connor Debutes New Look | 22 Words

After years of a distinctively bearded look, Connor Cruise has cleaned up and taken to social media to show off his "new face."

The twenty-six-year-old had followers doing a double-take after they finally caught a glimpse of his bare face!

He's normally known for sporting this rather large beard and plenty of curly hair, but his new look shows a buzzed head and a clean-shaven face. Honestly, he looks pretty good!

He shared his wild new look on his Instagram stories and received a lot of compliments in response.

But this is not the first time Connor has been in the headlines.

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's relationship is a subject of internet lore, with Kidman's celebration following their messy divorce even becoming a meme. But some of us forget that the tumultuous pair also shared children.

Connor was adopted by the pair shortly after he was born in 1995, after his sister Isabella was adopted in 1992.

The pair were immediately introduced to the controversial Church of Scientology, which Tom remains a part of to this day. Many speculate it was the constraints of this extreme religion that caused the breakdown of Cruise's marriage to both Kidman and Katie Holmes.

Connor and Isabella are "completely dedicated Scientologists just like Tom," according to People.

It's believed this is a major source of tension between Kidman and her children.

"They are adults. They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists and, as a mother, it's my job to love them. And I am an example of that tolerance and that's what I believe — that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I'm open here. I think that's so important because if that is taken away from a child, to sever that in any child, in any relationship, in any family — I believe it's wrong," she told Australian magazine Who back in 2018.

And although he is still deeply religious, it seems Connor is open to other interests, too.

"Connor lives in Clearwater, which is the church's main hub. He still DJ's but he has really become a big fishing guy. He's content with living a quieter life," a source tells People.

And it seems he's also getting into makeovers - if this news haircut is anything to go by!
