A Michigan man named Jeff landed the job he's dreamed of at Costco because of his daughters viral tweet.

Rebecca Mix's dad was one of the hundreds of thousands of American's who were laid off during the pandemic but after he was vaccinated, he asked his daughter for help writing his resume.

This story will warm your heart, we promise!

When Mix tweeted, she did not expect it to go viral.

"My dad has been laid off due to covid and now that he's vaccinated he's itching to go back to work, so I told him I'd help him with his resume. I asked him where he wants to work, and he said, SO earnestly, 'Costco seems like a nice place' I'm gonna cry lol", she tweeted.

"My dad is a very nice man who will work obnoxiously and is painfully helpful" Mix continued in her Twitter thread.

Well, weeks after her viral tweet Mix shared an update for those eager to find out whether or not her dad would get to start the job of his dreams, and amazingly so, a manager from a local Costco score reached out to Mix, requesting that her Dad fill out an application form online.

"Our CEO was made aware of your tweet regarding your Dad wanting to work for Costco," a manager at a local Costco store manager said in a private message.

"My dad has no idea how Twitter works but he is very excited and wants me to tell you all thank you for caring about him wanting to work at Costco LOL. He's going to apply tonight, please send good Costco vibes!" she tweeted.

Her dad has talked about wanting to work at Costco since his daughter was a little girl, so "if he actually ends up working there I will simply pass away with gratitude LMAO", Mix explained passionately.

And you'll love the result of Mix's viral tweets!

"GUYS" Mix exclaimed in a tweet, letting her followers know that her Dad got the job, proudly showing off his new lanyard badge.

Of course, Jeff's story warmed the hearts of those on the Internet.

He was so excited to hear from Costco because it meant he could be closer to his daughter too!

Mix also gave a thank you to Costco President and CEO Craig Jelinek, who had a hand in making her Dad part of the team.

"Craig Jelinek if u see this I have no idea how u found my tweets but congrats on hiring my dad he's the best thanks!!!!!!" Mix wrote, Also my dad already tried to convince me to sign up for a Costco membership lol. man hasn't even started yet. what have I done."
