Carey had failed to place in the all-around and vault final ending up in 8th place in the vault. After her win, Carey was spotted celebrating with her coach, captioning her celebratory Instagram post: "no one else I would want to share these moments with."
Praise and congratulations for the Arizona native have already begun rolling in. "This is awesome Jade. Watching you on the vault and not scoring where you wanted, prepared you for your GOLD on the floor exercise. Always be proud of your accomplishments because you are doing AWESOME," wrote one enthusiastic Facebook fan. "I love how all the team members got their own shot!" another added.
Huge congratulations to Jade!
