Jimmy Kimmel Unvaccinated People Shouldn't Get ICU Beds | 22 Words

Just moments after retuning from his summer hiatus, Jimmy Kimmel sparked outrage by claiming that unvaccinated people shouldn't be given ICU beds in hospitals.

Returning from his summer break earlier this week, Kimmel did not hold back his thoughts on those who have decided against having the coronavirus vaccine...

In his opening monologue, he revealed that he believes people who are unvaccinated should not take up beds in intensive-care units if hospitals become too crowded again.

Thanking everyone for their applause as he returned to the stage, Kimmel began by admitting that he thought things would be back to normal by the time he returned.

But, his expectations for audiences to be back to normal are far from the actual reality.

Speaking on the situation, Kimmel suggested that as hospitals become more crowded, they should accept vaccinated patients over unvaccinated ones.

"Dr. Fauci said if hospitals get any more crowded, they're going to have to make some very tough choices about who gets an ICU bed," he said. "That choice doesn't seem so tough to me. Vaccinated person having a heart attack? Yes, come right on in. We'll take care of you. Unvaccinated guy, who gobbled horse goo? Rest in peace, wheezy."

Of course, Kimmel's opinion on the unvaccinated has sparked outrage with many branding his comment as "simply sinister."

Commenting on his Instagram, one person wrote: "Vaxed or not, I as a healthcare professional shall treat you!"

While another argued: "Maybe they should deny your kid a hospital bed next time. Since you can afford private care."

Kimmel also explained that this year's Labor Day weekend isn't a very happy one due to cases being up 300% from a year ago.
