Justin Bieber has been accused of cultural appropriation after he showcased his new - or old - hairstyle over the weekend.

Has he finally taken it too far?

As most of you will be aware, the "Yummy" singer is no stranger to controversy, with him seldom being out of the headlines throughout his career.

For example...

When he was just sixteen years old, Bieber was dividing opinions with his stance on abortion. "I really don't believe in abortion. It's like killing a baby," he told Rolling Stone in 2011.

He then went on to share his thought on women who choose abortion in cases of r*pe.

"Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I don't know how that would be a reason. I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that."

And, of course, there was the Anne Frank incident.

In an unbelievably tone-deaf move when visiting the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, a nineteen-year-old Bieber signed the guestbook with words he'll likely never live down.

"Truly inspiring to be able to come here," he wrote. "Anne was a great girl. Hopefully, she would have been a Belieber."

Really?

His tone-deafness with culture and customs struck again in 2014...

During a trip to Japan, the singer visited the Yasukuni Shrine; a controversial monument that honors Japanese war criminals.

Unfamiliar with this crucial part of history, however, he posted a picture of himself standing outside the historical building with the caption, "thank you for your blessings."

Of course, Bieber quickly realized that the monument wasn't a place of prayer and apologized profusely for his mistake.

However, that hasn't stopped him from reoffending on the cultural appropriation front.

As stated earlier, fans are furious with the singer this week...

And it's all over his new hairstyle.

According to his latest Instagram post, Bieber has brought back his 2016 dreadlocks...

Despite being criticized for adopting the traditionally Black style.

Well, this time, the response has been no different.

Twitter is awash with fans accusing Bieber - who, by the way, is white Canadian - for adopting dreadlocks, which has long being a staple part of Black African culture.

People are not impressed...

Here's the Instagram post in question.

Bieber can be seen wearing a pink and black checkered shirt with his blonde hair styled into what appears to be dreadlocks.

He also shared this selfie on his Instagram Stories...

Where his hair is definitely in the process of being locked.

Of course, Bieber is yet to address the backlash.
