A fashion expert has this week detailed how Kate Middleton's style has been gradually changing as she prepares to become Queen.
How did we not notice?!
Here's the full story...
Now, the Duchess of Cambridge has always been known for her impeccable fashion sense.
There was that wedding dress.
When she wed Prince William in 2011, Kate wowed the world in a stunning Alexander McQueen gown.
The Victorian-inspired dress, which featured a 9-foot long train and hand-crafted lace sleeves, has become one of the most famous wedding gowns of all time, and remains a hot talking-point amongst designers to this very day.
And we won't be forgetting her radiant new mother look in a hurry, will we?
Just hours after her first son - and the future King of England - Prince George was born in 2013, Kate emerged at the doorsteps of the hospital wearing a short-sleeved blue dress by Jenny Packham, a subtle nod to the polka-dot dress Princess Diana wore when leaving the hospital with Prince William 3 decades earlier.
But her iconic outfits aren't just reserved for special occasions.
For pretty much every public event she has attended, her outfits have become a hot talking point among royalists across the world.
She has become an undeniable fashion icon...

However, as she prepares to become Queen, her fashion sense has been gradually changing.
A fashion expert has given her analysis on Kate's dress sense over the years, and has pointed out some signs that she is changing her style as the title of Queen looms.
He made some bold claims about the messages behind her changing style...
Anthony McGrath, a celebrity stylist and lecturer at the Fashion Retail Academy in London, said that Kate's evolving style over the years offers a clear picture of how she's preparing to rule beside her husband, Prince William when he eventually takes the throne.
Speaking to the Express, McGrath broke down the way Kate's style over the years illustrates her journey toward the throne.
On Kate's pre-royal style, he said:
"Since Kate has been in the limelight she has always been somewhat of a conservative dresser, whether that was because she wanted to prove herself to the Royal Family or was her own personal style, who knows, but she was rarely seen in anything too risqué."
He noted how her style has become notably more "modest" since marrying into the elusive family.
"Since marrying Prince William and officially becoming a member of the Royal Family, her outfits have certainly become more modest... She had to leave behind the flirty and floaty dress, thigh-skimming minis, and low-cut evening gowns."
And as for her signature royal look?
Well, McGrath explained that she gradually introduced her own staple looks rather than adopting more traditional ones.
"Instead, she introduced skirt suits and coat dresses, which have since become staple items in her wardrobe and are frequently her go-to looks for public engagements. She also introduced an array of A-lines dresses in various different colors, decorative hats for formal events, and closed-toe shoes."
"We must give her credit for staying true to who she has and not molding herself into something else entirely."
"Slowly, but surely, she has finessed her style over the years and her style is without a doubt, suitable for a future Queen."
