Lisa Kudrow Details the Tender Moment You May Have Missed on 'Friends' Reunion | 22 Words

Lisa Kudrow has pointed out a sweet and understated moment from the Friends reunion that's breaking everyone's hearts.

The reunion has been a huge deal for the entertainment industry.

But one moment, in particular, has everyone feeling all the feels.

To this very day, Friends continues to be one of the most successful sitcoms of all time...

And when Ross (David Schwimmer), Rachel (Jennifer), Chandler (Matthew Perry), Monica, (Courteney Cox), Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), and Joey (Matt LeBlanc) first burst onto our screens, we immediately fell in love.

It was an instant hit...

Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, the comedy follows a group of friends who live in the same New York apartment block as they together navigate through the turbulent years of their late twenties.

The final episode aired in September 2004...

And we watched through our tears as the gang said their final goodbyes to the apartment we had all grown to know and love for the past decade.

It was an emotional rollercoaster, to say the least.

Monica and Chandler were starting a family, Phoebe was newly married, Rachel had a new job in Paris... As with a lot of friendships, the gang had grown apart and were embarking upon their separate journeys.

Oh, and Rachel got off the plane!

Fans rejoiced as Ross and Rachel finally put their differences aside and got back together.

But, seventeen years on from Rachel getting off the plane...

We never found out what happened to the gang.

Did Rachel and Ross stay together? Would Monica and Chandler ever get divorced? Did Joey ever make it as a big actor?

Over the years, there have been a few low-key reunions and a lot of false hope...

But apart from the occasional reunion on talk shows, fans have had their fair share of disappointments when it comes to waiting for a Friends reunion.

Well, the news we were all waiting for arrived in February last year...

All of the cast posted the same throwback picture on Instagram confirming the news of an official, unscripted reunion.

The reunion was originally scheduled to air in May 2020 on HBO Max but due to the global pandemic, it was called off "indefinitely," just a week before filming was set to take place.

But it's true when they say, good things come to those who wait!

Because the reunion finally aired on HBO Max on May 27th last week.

The 2-hour long episode was what every Friends fan in the world had hoped for.

Consisting of incredibly emotional reunions, table reads, revisiting the old Los Angeles set, reminiscing of fond memories, and a whole range of star-studded guests... the episode was an emotional rollercoaster, to say the least!

The gang were clearly very overwhelmed to be back in the exact same set in which they worked for over a decade...

And it was revealed that this was the first time in seventeen years that all of the stars had been back in the same room together.

How is that even possible?!

But the episode proved how the bond between the group remains to be just as strong to this very day...

And the chemistry between all of them was undeniable... oh, and not to mention Jennifer and David admitting to having crushes on each other in the first season!

In the days following the episode airing, certain members of the gang took to social media to thank their fans for their overwhelming love and support...

And they were all absolutely adorable.

The moment happened just after Courteney Cox arrived.

"Well, Courteney comes in and burst into tears and I grab a napkin or a tissue," she explained.

"LeBlanc takes it because he is telling us a story and doesn't want to skip a beat and starts dabbing her eyes, just on automatic."

"That's who we were!"
