Times are harder than ever since the COVID pandemic hit last year, and so many people have sadly been left without their jobs or any form of secure income.

So for many, buying designer clothes simply isn't an option...

Or is it?

Accoriding to Louis Vuitton it most certainly is an option!

Louis Vuitton is a French fashion house and luxury goods company founded in 1854 by none other than the man, Louis Vuitton, himself.

The brand is known for its unbelievably stylish collections...

And it is also known for its jaw-droppingly steep prices.

$4000 for a jacket?

It's a no from us!

And now, a Louis Vuitton bag that's shaped like a plane has been the subject of ridicule on social media.

But what's more concerning is the price tag.

The impracticality of the design and the steep price has left many people outraged...

And it's understandable why...

The brown bag features Louis Vuitton's signature monogram pattern and is structurally the same as a plane.

The bag was designed by Virgil Abloh and sells for $39,000!

One social media user wrote: "You can buy an actual plane for less," posting an advert for a plane for $32,300 as proof.

Another wrote: "For $39K I better be able to fly that bag."

The bag became the subject of many plane-related jokes. One person said: "Where's my chapstick? Have you checked the cockpit?"

Meanwhile, another person joked: "Looks like price of handbags really 'took off' this year.."

Each to their own, right?
