A royal expert has claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry "won't last" as a married couple...

And that from the moment Meghan became the royal Duchess of Sussex, it was "off with everyone's head."

Scroll on to hear more on what this expert had to say...

Now, since former actress, Meghan Markle, married Prince Harry in 2018...

She has been thrown into the spotlight in ways she could have never imagined... along with her royal husband, of course!

The pair have since formally stepped down from their positions within the royal family...

And they are currently residing in Los Angeles where they're raising their son, Archie, and expecting their second child.

But they recently decided to speak out about their terrible experiences with the royal family and British press in the last few years...

To none other than Oprah Winfrey.

It's the interview that everyone has been talking about.

Their 2-hour-long interview aired on CBS on Sunday, March 7th and viewers watched on in shock as some mind-blowing allegations were made against the monarchy.

For example...

It was claimed that senior members of the family had refused to get Meghan professional help when she was experiencing suicidal thoughts during her pregnancy with Archie.

Meghan also addressed that incident with her sister-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.

Headlines were made in 2018 when Meghan allegedly "made Kate cry" in a row about bridesmaids' dresses in the days before her and Harry's wedding - well, in her chat with Oprah, Meghan claimed that Kate was the one to make her cry.

Though she did stress that Kate had apologized and that she had "forgiven her."

She also addressed the ongoing issues of racism within the monarchy.

Meghan claimed an unnamed senior member of the Royal family raised "concerns" about how dark Archie's skin would be before his birth.

"In those months when I was pregnant, all around this same time, so we have in tandem the conversation of, 'you won't be given security, not gonna be given a title' and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he's born."

Harry then explained that he "had to get out," though when he did he was "cut off financially" when he and Meghan needed help the most...

He also added that they've since been relying on his inheritance from Princess Diana.

"I was totally cut off financially. My family cut me off – if I didn't have what my mom left me, we wouldn't have been able to do this."

"All I wanted to do was keep my family safe."

Meghan then insisted that they never had any plans at first to quit the U.K - she said the intention was to "do this forever" and that she told the royal family to "use me as much as you like."

Quite predictably, opinion was well and truly divided over the interview...

With a vast majority feeling sympathetic for Harry and Meghan over what they've allegedly endured in the last few years.

But on the other hand...

People have been slamming the pair for agreeing to take part in Oprah's interview and have even been brandishing them as "liars"... including Piers Morgan, of course!

It's undoubtedly caused a lot of drama...

And the couple have been the talk of the entire world in the last few weeks since the interview aired.

And although more important things have been going on...

Including the tragic death of Harry's grandfather, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, many are still continuing to drag Harry and Meghan's names through the mud.

And Lady Colin Campbell is one of those people.

Lady C is a British author and biographer who prides herself on being a major royalist and a royal expert - which is pretty much a person who knows everything there is to know about the personal lives of the royals.

She's published 8 books about the royals...

And her latest was published last year, titled Meghan and Harry: The Real Story.

Lady C made her opinions on the couple very clear in her book...

And speaking more recently in an interview with Page Six, she expressed her disgust over their explosive Oprah interview.

"Since the fallout from the Oprah piece, her name's mud throughout the Commonwealth, even in the islands. This wrong-footed woman stated untruths. She couldn't keep her mouth shut," the royalist said.

She then went on to suggest Meghan lied throughout the interview and that Harry simply "went along with it."

"Knowing some statements could not be massaged into reality, Harry went along. Not pleased, he knew they were not true. They were not already married 3 days before the big wedding. There's a difference between fact and fiction. He knows the difference in a real ceremony. As did the Archbishop of Canterbury."

Lady C hinted that she and Meghan have never seen eye-to-eye.

"Disconnected from reality, she lost it. She froths at the mouth when my name is mentioned. But nothing she can do because I made no legal mistakes. With all I stated about her - her background, how she learned about him - I am legally okay."

But the royal expert then went the extra mile and said that Harry and Meghan "won't last."

"She and Harry won't last. Once she became the royal Duchess of Sussex, it was off with everyone's head."

Now, that's a very bold prediction to make!

Do you agree with Lady C? Or do you think Harry and Meghan are now stronger than ever thanks to their step back from the royal family?
