It's been close to 8 years since his untimely death and it's still a sore subject among his fans.
Paul Walker was a big name in the film industry.

Throughout the '90s, he starred in a slate of TV shows.
Including Charles in Charge, Who's the Boss? and The Young and the Restless.
But it didn't take him long to put his TV days behind him...
His role in the 1999 flick Varsity Blues earnt him significant attention and turned the heads of critics.
But his breakthrough came with a very well-known franchise.
In 2001, Paul landed the role we all know and love him for: starring as Brian O'Conner in The Fast and the Furious.
The flick firmly cemented him as an action-movie mainstay.
And he subsequently became the face associated with the smash-hit franchise.
The Fast and Furious was a huge success.
The movie grossed an impressive $207.3 million at the box office and ultimately kickstarted the hugely popular franchise.
2 years later, the franchise returned to screens with its first sequel, 2 Fast 2 Furious.
The movie was even more successful than the first, raking in a whopping $236.3 million in revenue at the box office.
Paul featured in the movie's 4 sequels and short prequel...
He kept himself busy, to say the least.
The star also went on to venture away from the franchise...
He starred in other action movies, including Takers, Hours, and Vehicle 19.
But in 2013, the world was left in mourning...

While he was in Santa Clarita, California, attending a charity event, the star was involved in a fatal car crash.He was reportedly in the passenger seat of a Porsche when his friend, who was driving, lost control, causing the vehicle to crash into a tree.
The car was engulfed in flames.

Paul's brother has shared his thoughts on the latest films to come out of the franchise he was part of.
He says the Fast and the Furious family made the right move in how they let his character go...
And thinks Paul would love that the franchise is still going.

Cody Walker was asked by TMZ about how he feels F&F has honored his brother's legacy, with the latest movie about to hit theatres...
Cody says Vin and the rest of the crew have done well, tastefully paying tribute to Paul's character, Brian O'Conner in the sequels.
Cody says he was in middle school when F&F first came out, and that both he and Paul developed a love of cars due to the movies...
He says people often come up to him in the street, telling him Paul is the reason they love cars, and his response is always "Me too!!!"
They also asked Cody about Paul's famous orange 1994 Toyota Supra, which is going up for auction later this month...
Cody's anticipating a huge figure and thinks that Paul would find the whole thing hilarious.
