Paul Walker's daughter Meadow Walker is engaged to boyfriend Louis Thornton-Allan.
Meadow and her actor boyfriend Louis went Instagram official just over a month ago, but it seems the pair are in a hurry to tie the knot as the twenty-two-year-old shared the news of her engagement to Instagram on Monday, August 9th, with a short video of her in a pool showcasing her new diamond ring.
The model looked almost a little embarrassed as she flashed her hand to the camera, but she couldn't hide her smile. It's not clear how long Meadow and her now fiancè have been seeing each other, but it looks like Louis took the plunge while they were on vacation in the desert.
According to Louis' Instagram account, the pair went official on July 9th when he shared a picture of them both staring into each other's eyes, calling Meadow his "best friend" in the caption.
Meadow's late father's Fast and Furious co-star Jordana Brewster seems to approve of their relationship, as she left multiple heart emojis in the comments section of the post.
And people have shared their congratulations to the young couple...
One Instagram user wrote: "Congratulations Meadow!!! So happy for you, I know ur dad would be too." While another commented: "Congratulations, your father is up there smiling and happy for you! Your ring is gorgeous."
"Oh my gosh, congrats beautiful!!! I'm so so happy for you!!!" a third wrote.
Most commented that her late father would be proud of her.
As we know, Paul tragically lost his life in November 2013 at the age of forty years old after being involved in a car crash during the filming of the seventh installment of the Fast and Furious franchise.
Following his death in 2015, Meadow filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche and alleged that the sports car had design flaws that ultimately lead to his death.
According to previous reports by CNN, Porsche hit back at the claims and said the vehicle "was abused and altered after being placed into the stream of commerce in a manner that was not reasonably foreseeable to (Porsche Cars North America)," stating that the late actor was "a knowledgeable and sophisticated user" who should have been aware of the risks.
2 years after the lawsuit, Meadow reached a settlement with the car company, although the terms of the agreement haven't been disclosed to the public.
Last year, on the anniversary of Paul's death, Meadow shared an old photo with her dad and wrote a touching caption: "A silly day to remember in sadness. Today's a celebration of the love and happiness you brought to the world. Here's a photo of my best bud & I napping."
We wish the young couple all the best!
