Since announcing the news of her upcoming children's book, Meghan Markle has divided a lot of opinions online... including that of Piers Morgan, of course.
And believe us when we say this, the journalist isn't happy about Meghan's new venture.
Scroll on to hear what he had to say about it in his latest column...
Now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been the talk of the entire world since their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey aired.
Their 2-hour-long interview aired on CBS on Sunday, March 7th and viewers watched on in shock as some mind-blowing allegations were made against the monarchy.
Meghan Markle was SUICIDAL and the royal family DENIED her mental health treatment, but she persevered and her openness will SAVE LIVES. 🙏🏽— Cleavon MD (@Cleavon_MD) March 8, 2021
Every 40 seconds, a person dies by suicide
It was claimed that senior members of the family had refused to get Meghan professional help when she was experiencing suicidal thoughts during her pregnancy with Archie.
Meghan also addressed that incident with her sister-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.
Headlines were made in 2018 when Meghan allegedly "made Kate cry" in a row about bridesmaids' dresses in the days before her and Harry's wedding - well, in her chat with Oprah, Meghan claimed that Kate was the one to make her cry.
Though she did stress that Kate had apologized and that she had "forgiven her."
Harry then explained that he "had to get out," though when he did he was "cut off financially" when he and Meghan needed help the most...
He also added that they've since been relying on his inheritance from Princess Diana.
"I was totally cut off financially. My family cut me off – if I didn't have what my mom left me, we wouldn't have been able to do this. All I wanted to do was keep my family safe."
Meghan then addressed the ongoing issues of racism within the monarchy.
The Duchess claimed an unnamed senior member of the Royal family raised "concerns" about how dark Archie's skin would be before his birth.
She implied that this "concern" was the reason Archie wasn't given a royal title.
"In those months when I was pregnant, all around this same time.... so we have in tandem the conversation of 'He won't be given security, he's not going to be given a title,' and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he's born," Meghan explained.
Quite predictably, opinion was well and truly divided over the interview...
All I can say is that I completely understand. My heart and soul goes out to her. 💔❤— Sunshine, MPH 🏳️🌈🔭🔬☣ (@CallSignWhisker) March 8, 2021
With a vast majority feeling sympathetic for Harry and Meghan over what they've allegedly endured in the last few years.
But on the other hand...
Another lie exposed, they're coming thick and fast: https://t.co/lImQ73Dw33— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) March 8, 2021
People have been slamming the pair for agreeing to take part in Oprah's interview and have even been brandishing them as "liars"... including Piers Morgan, of course!
Now, we all know that the London-based journalist isn't Meghan's biggest fan...
And even since she reportedly "ghosted" him in 2016, Piers has held a very personal vendetta against the Duchess and he took the couple's step down from the royal family awfully.
His relentless attacks on Meghan started to get out of hand following the interview...
On Monday, I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview. I’ve had time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don’t. If you did, OK. Freedom of speech is a hill I’m happy to die on. Thanks for all the love, and hate. I’m off to spend more time with my opinions. pic.twitter.com/bv6zpz4Roe— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) March 10, 2021
And they actually lead to Piers being strongly advised to step down from his position as co-host of Good Morning Britain.
Nevertheless, Piers has continued to stand his ground and slam Meghan and Harry for "destroying the monarchy" and wanting nothing but "personal gain"...

For Harry to have caused so much hurt to his grandmother the Queen at a time when her husband lies seriously ill in hospital, is just appalling. When it comes to mental health, it appears Meghan and Harry only care about themselves.

And this week, he's turned on Meghan yet again following her most recent career announcement.
It was announced earlier this week that Meghan is set to publish a children's book about father-son relationships, as seen through the eyes of mothers.
The Bench will be published on June 8th and is said to be inspired by the bond between Prince Harry and Archie.
"This is your bench, Where life begins, For you and our son our baby, our kin."
"The Bench started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father's Day, the month after Archie was born. That poem became this story," Meghan said in a statement per the BBC.
"Beautiful and ethereal watercolor illustrations that capture the warmth, joy, and comfort of the relationship between fathers and sons from all walks of life; this representation was particularly important to me, and Christian and I worked closely to depict this special bond through an inclusive lens."
Since the news of Meghan's book dropped, people have been overjoyed...
This is brilliant. She is amazing with words so I know the book will be lovely 🥰 📖 . Looks like the kids in the family will be getting a new book just because 🥰🥰😇😇 ✍️ 📖✍️📖❤️❤️ #MeghanMarkle https://t.co/H34xSMsEcT— Marie-Claire . She/Her (@marieClaireJR) May 4, 2021
And it's clear that many are eager to secure their own copy and to read Meghan's emotional and literate words.
But of course, floods of criticism have been pouring in...
And Piers has poured even more fuel on the fire by dedicating his weekly column to Meghan's new venture.
"Is this a joke?"
Piers' published his firey column yesterday and he started by admitting that he "laughed out loud when the news broke via her ecstatic publishers, and even louder when I read the accompanying gush-laden statements."
"I wonder how much these touching sentiments will resonate with her own family, or her husband's? Lest we forget, Ms. Markle has ruthlessly disowned her father Thomas and refuses to have anything to do with him despite the fact they now live just 70 miles from each other."
"The whole notion of Meghan Markle dishing out advice to anyone about the relationship between fathers and children is absolutely ridiculous given the appalling relationships she and her husband have with their own fathers."
"I'd honestly rather hear parenting tips from Britney Spears's god-awful father because at least they still talk to each other."
The journalist then turned the heat upon Harry.
"As for Harry, he trashed his father Prince Charles in the same interview, moaning about how Daddy had stopped taking his calls or giving him cash, sounding like some needy spoiled brat teenager rather than a thirty-six-year-old multi-millionaire doormat who ditched his family, country, and duty because his chillingly controlling and ambitious wife wanted him to."
Piers pointed out how Meghan had used her royal title in the author name of the book.
"Yet when it comes to flogging her book, what author name does Meghan Markle use? Ah, of course: 'Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex.' Yes, she continues to cynically exploit her royal titles because she knows that's the only reason anyone is paying her vast sums of money to spew her uniquely unctuous brand of pious hectoring gibberish in Netflix documentaries, Spotify podcasts or children's books."
He then said what Meghan really needs is some "old-fashioned home truth."
"And THE truth is that she's a cynical disingenuous manipulator intent on wrecking the Royal Family's image around the world with her shameless, shameful, money-grabbing victim-playing antics, and dragging her hapless husband along for the ride," Piers slammed.
"This new book about father-children relationships is just another example of Meghan Markle's never-ending penchant for preaching what she never practices."
He suggested that Meghan should make the effort to reconcile with her father if she really cares about father-child relationships.
"And if she really cared about father-child relationships, she would never have trashed Harry's family on global TV in the horrible way that she did, causing yet more damage, possibly irreparably, to Harry's relationship with his father."
Do you agree with Piers' opinion on Meghan and her new venture?
Or do you think this is yet another example of him taking any given opportunity to tarnish Meghan's name further?
