"'As I've said before, the restrictive hormone treatment that sports authorities make transgender women do before they can compete in women's sport does not reduce muscle density or power," he added. | 22 Words

Piers Morgan had a lot to say about a transgender MMA fighter that recently made her debut... And let me tell you, it wasn't pretty.

On Friday, Alana McLaughlin made her fighting debut and won against her opponent, but rather than congratulating her on her win, Morgan ripped into her...

McLaughlin took on French fighter, Celine Provost, and beat her via submission during the Combate Global preliminaries in Miami. It was reported that McLaughlin underwent several medical tests before the competition to make sure that her hormone levels were suitable for her to compete in the event.

But despite all the research and testing, it seems as though Morgan thought he knew better...

The former TV presenter said that the fight was "sickening" and that transgender sports should end...

Writing in a column for MailOnline, Morgan said: "Regardless of her military record or personal struggles growing up, none of this justifies what happened on Friday night. I found the bout sickening to watch.

"It was obvious very quickly that McLaughlin was too strong and equally obvious that this strength came from the thirty-three years she spent as a biological man," he continued.

"'As I've said before, the restrictive hormone treatment that sports authorities make transgender women do before they can compete in women's sport does not reduce muscle density or power," he added.

He even said that he thinks it's deadly for contact sports: "This creates a bad enough unfairness in non-contact sports like sprinting or weightlifting, but when it comes to combat sport like MMA it creates a potentially deadly disparity."

Morgan then went on to say that transgender women competing against biological women is a crime against female sports.

But following the fight, McLaughlin responded to critics such as Morgan and said people needed to have more respect for women...

And it appears that she's been blocking a lot of haters because of the issue.

"Good morning, friends, supporters, and others! I'm getting a lot of variations of the same nasty messages calling me a cheater like I didn't just get beat on for a round and a half," she said on her post.

"Y'all need to show @cylinelagrande some respect and take your concern trolling elsewhere. She almost finished me more than once, and on scorecards, she definitely won that first round. This is the only post I'll make about this.

"Transphobes are just making my block hand stronger," she finished.

You tell 'em, girl!
