A gender reveal stunt went tragically wrong earlier this week when a plane crashed into the ocean.
The footage has left people utterly horrified...
2 people ended up losing their lives in the fatal accident.

Now, finding out the gender of a baby is an exciting concept...
And most parents-to-be, whether they like to admit it or not, have a burning curiosity as to what sex their child will be.
While many parents prefer to wait and see until the special day...
There are so many couples out there who want to find out early... and, of course, make a pretty big fuss over it.
This is when "gender reveal" parties come into the equation...
And more than often, they're a huge deal.
What ever happened to just finding out and leaving it there?
Long gone are the days when people would intimately find out their baby's gender at a scan and just going home with the happy news!
Some excited parents-to-be will go to some pretty extreme lengths to construct the perfect gender reveal party for their family and friends...
And many will happily spend thousands of dollars on the theatrics.
It's a big no from us...
But some just take things way too far...

Including a lizard-loving dad who used a live alligator to reveal the gender of his child.
It's a no from us...
But the most recent dramatic gender reveal ended in utter tragedy...
And people have been left both stunned and appalled over the lengths people will go to to throw a gender reveal spectacle.

The tragic incident occurred above the Caribbean Sea in the Nichupte Lagoon off the coast of Cancun in south-eastern Mexico on Tuesday this week.
A couple along with their guests were celebrating an extravagant gender reveal party that involved them watch a light aircraft perform stunts while they were on a boat.
Footage of the plane flying around was captured and uploaded on Twitter...
And cheers from the crowd can be heard before someone screams, "It's a girl!" as the plane reveals the gender through a large banner.
But then, things go horribly wrong.
The aircraft suddenly plummets towards the water and disappears under the waves, which is when the video cuts off.
According to the Mexican news outlet Debate, the navy came to the aid of those involved in the crash...
They recovered the pilot and the co-pilot from the water, but one sadly died during the rescue and the other was declared dead while receiving first aid on dry land.
The parents-to-be and their guests weren't harmed from the boat they were watching the performance on...
And the federal civil aviation agency has begun its investigation into what caused the crash, according to Metro.
