Prince Andrew Sued for Sexual Assault | 22 Words

Prince Andrew allegedly sexually abused a teenage girl he met through Jefferey Epstein, according to a new lawsuit.

Queen Elizabeth's son is being sued for sexual assault in federal court by Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who alleges that she was a victim of Epstein's sex trafficking scheme for powerful men, one of which was Prince Andrew.

According to the suit which was obtained by TMZ, Andrew is accused of sexually abusing Giuffre in NYC when she was just a minor, after being invited by Epstein and his co-conspirator, Ghislaine maxwell.

Jeffery Epstein had first been exposed in 2005 when a parent had complained that he had sexually abused her fourteen-year-old daughter, he eventually pleaded guilty, being convicted in 2008, and was sentenced to eighteen months in prison.

Epstein was arrested again in 2019, this time, on federal charges for sex trafficking of minors in Florida and New York. He was found dead in his jail cell on August 10th, 2019, of a suspected suicide.

Giuffre claims she was just seventeen years old when the royal committed sexual assault and battery against her... and as you would expect, the abuse left her with severe emotional distress.

But, Prince Andrew, afraid of his reputation as a royal being tarnished, was not cooperative with FBI and federal prosecutors in 2019 and 2020, when law enforcement was wanting to talk to him about Epstein.

"I don't remember this," he said in a car crash BBC interview.

"I don't have a message for her, because I have to have a thick skin," Andrew said when asked what his message to Virginia Roberts would be. "If somebody is going to make those sorts of allegations then I have just got to have a thick skin and get on with it, but they never happened."

Andrew then said on BBC Newsnight that he couldn't remember ever meeting Giuffre, despite a 2001 photograph where he's posing with her.

Shortly after the allegations were made, he resigned from all royal public duties in May 2020 over his ties to Epstein. But since Giuffre has moved to suit, Prince Andrews reps have said nothing as of yet about the matter.

This is a developing story and updates will be posted accordingly.
