Scarlett Johansson Expecting Her First Child With Colin Jost | 22 Words

Scarlett Johansson is reportedly expecting her first child with her husband Colin Jost.

The thirty-six-year-old actress, who plays Natasha Romanoff, has been noticeably absent from several Black Widow events. Fans caught on that something wasn't quite right because she hasn't been doing in-person interviews to promote her latest Marvel film, which she also executive produced alongside starring in.

She even skipped the London premiere last month with Florence Pugh, who plays Romanoff's sister Yelena, and instead promoted her new movie on Good Morning America.

However, there seems to be a good reason for Scarlett's avoidance of red carpet appearances and face-to-face interviews...

Insiders have told Page Six that she is pregnant and due "very soon," with one saying: "Scarlett is actually due soon, I know she and Colin are thrilled."

Another insider added: "Scarlett is pregnant but has been keeping it very quiet. She has been keeping a very low profile."

Scarlett is already a mom to her 6-year-old daughter, Rose Dorothy with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac, but her latest child will be Colin's first, although he is a stepfather to Rose.

Scarlett quietly tied the knot with the comedian in October after dating for 3 years.

Scarlett revealed on The Ellen Show that Colin surprised her with a "romantic" proposal inspired by an iconic character: "He did, like, a whole James Bond situation."

The couple's fairytale romance was reportedly love at first sight for Colin. The comedian recalled his first impression of his wife in his new memoir A Very Punchable Face, describing her as "beautiful, smart, sweet and intimidatingly sophisticated."

Colin also revealed that their relationship sparked his desire to have children. "I've even woke up on a Sunday after a show and thought, 'I would love to be raising a baby right now!'" he wrote. "Which is a far cry from when I used to wake up on a Sunday and think, 'Can I make it to the bathroom, or should I just puke on this plant?'"

While the stars are yet to comment on the baby news, low-key seems to be their style as shown by their secretive marriage to each other.

According to Metro, a post from the organization at the time read: "We're thrilled to break the news that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and loved ones, following Covid-19 safety precautions as directed by the CDC."

Scarlett and the Saturday Night Live comedian Colin, began dating back in 2016, after the actress filed for divorce from ex-husband Romain Dauriac.

What you might not know is that Scarlett has been married twice before, to journalist Romain from 2014 to 2017, and Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011.

We wish the couple all the best!
