Simon Cowell was brought to tears during the latest episode of America's Got Talent after a contestant performed a powerful original song about her experience living with cancer.
And he even gave her his golden buzzer!
On Tuesday night's episode, Jane - a signer from Ohio who goes by the stage name "Nightbirde" - dedicated her performance to the last year of her life battling cancer.
She told judges Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel that she has cancer in her lungs, spine, and liver with a 2-percent chance of survival.
"I have a 2 percent chance of survival but 2 percent is not zero percent. 2 percent is something and I wish people knew how amazing it is," she said valiantly.
She wants people to know she's "so much more than the bad things that happened to me"...
And that is certainly what she did with her stunning performance.
Viewers were blown away, to say the least...
With one viewer commenting, "What a woman. The positivity that she has is incredible. And what an original voice as well. I'm rooting for her," and another saying, "Even if her physical body binds her to the ground, making her life difficult, her soul is like a golden bird. She is a miracle!"
And when it came to the judge's verdicts...
Cowell decided to give Jane his coveted golden buzzer after being brought to tears by her powerful words.
