Blue's Clues is an American live-action and animated educational television series that began airing back in 1996 and ever since its debut, it's held a special place in all of our hearts.
But now, years later, one of the most iconic presenters of the show, Steve, has an emotional message for us all...
If you are the 1990s or 2000s baby, you probably remember the day that the beloved presenter Steve left the show Blue's Clues.
Blue's Clues is one of the longest-running Nick Jr. Series until it was surpassed by Dora the Explorer in 2011. However, on the 25th Anniversary of the show, Steve came back and surprised us all!
In a video on Twitter, Steve returned and talked us through the past twenty-five years…
So about that time Steve went off to college… #BluesClues25 https://t.co/O8NOM2eRjy— Nick Jr. (@Nick Jr.) 1631044955.0
Played by actor Steve Burns, Steve reminisced in the super emotional video about his final show where he "left for college" and how it probably felt like a very abrupt "goodbye" to all of his fans.
Dressed in the classic green T-shirt and a grey hat, he talks about how long it has been since we've seen him and how far we've all come.
He gently reminded us how we now have jobs and families and student loans…
"And some of it has been kind of hard you know?" He added.
Steve goes on to thank his viewers and fans for always being there for him back in the day and says that the help we gave him then still helps him now.
"I never forgot you… ever," he continued.
So many people were moved by Steve's heartfelt message… Including us.
Thank you, Steve, for popping back into our lives and saying hello once more. It's what we all needed after a turbulent few years.
