Dad With Face Tattoo Takes to Social Media To Beg For Work | 22 Words

A teenage dad with a "terrifying" face tattoo has taken to social media to beg for work after searching for months and having no luck.

Mark Cropp, nineteen, is on the search for a job but it seems his eye-opening face tattoo could be causing him some issues.

Cropp got the tattoo while serving time in prison for pulling out a knife during a botched drug deal in New Zealand, Little Things reports.

One night during Cropp's 2 year sentence, he and his cell mate became very drunk after drinking homemade alcohol made from fermented apples, bread, and sugar.

In his drunken state, Cropp and his cell mate decided it would be a good idea to give him a tattoo. Using ink made from toothpaste and melted plastic knives and forks, Cropp had his nickname tattooed on his body.

But not just anywhere on his body... Cropp had it tattooed on his lower face.

Cropp woke up the following morning with the word "Devast8" tattooed across his jaw and the lower half of his face.

Following his release from prison, Cropp began searching for jobs but he soon ran into an issue. The teenager found that he was struggling to get a job as many employers were unimpressed by his face tattoo and consequently, despite having previously work experience, he found himself being turned down for job after job.

After the realisation of what the tattoo was doing, Cropp decided that he wanted to have the tattoo removed. Unfortunately though, with no job to bring money in, Cropp was unable to afford to have it removed.

In addition to his financial issues, many people did not want to take on the task of removing Cropp's tattoo as it would many laser removal sessions.

So, with little hope, Cropp to took to social media to beg for work.

Taking to Facebook, he wrote: "Hey I'm keen as to work but have one thing that is stoping me and thats my tattoo on my face."

Fortunately for Cropp, the post soon went viral and job offers and messages of advice came pouring in, with some even offering make-up tips for covering up the tattoo.

Well, let's hope the young dad is able to raise the funds soon to get his tattoo finally removed!
