Read on to find out all the exciting details...

Netflix has decided to embark on a daring venture that has been described as "its most financially ambitious feature film so far."

The Gray Man has got everyone talking and with millions subscribing to the streaming platform throughout the pandemic, it's the perfect formula to be a hit among audiences.

And even with only character and cast revelations...

Fans are already excited to see what else is in store.

Comments on social media have been pouring in...

Equipped with an all-star cast and an exceptional budget, The Gray Man promises to do justice to the thriller book series.

The film will be produced by Joe and Anthony Russo, which is telling in itself as the brothers are both renowned directors and producers. Their past major blockbuster was nothing short of impressive, a little film titled Avengers: Endgame, which saw Box Office records smashed out of the park grossing approximately 2.798 billion worldwide.

Knowing this, we can only anticipate what's in store for this new movie.

The Gray Man tells the story of combat between killers as Court Gentry, who will be played by Ryan Gosling, is hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen, played by Captain America himself, Chris Evans, a former college of Gentry's while they were both working at the CIA.

Anthony Russo told Deadline this:

"The movie is a real mano a mano between those two great actors who represent two different versions of the CIA, in what it can be, and what it can do."

He continued:

"For those who were fans of Captain America: Winter Soldier, this is us moving into that territory in more of a real-world setting. That's what this movie really means for us."

Joe Russo also added this:

"The intention is for it to be competitive with any theatrical, and the ability to do with Gosling and Evans is a dream for us. The idea is to create a franchise and build out a whole universe, with Ryan at the center of it... These are master assassins, and Gosling's characters get burned by the CIA, and Evans' character has to hunt him down."

Now, we have to talk more about the lead roles.

As I mentioned already, Ryan Gosling is set to take on the role of the protagonist, Court Gentry while Chris Evans is stepping into the shoes of Lloyd Hansen.

Chris Evans and the Russo brothers have obviously worked closely before during the Marvel era and the combination was nothing short of epic.

So seeing them unite for yet another project is something that we definitely needed.

But they're not the only ones that have worked together before.

Evans has also starred in another thriller with Ana de Armas, who is also going to take on a role in this upcoming Netflix film. Knives Out saw the Cuban actress across paths with America's national treasure for what was described as a "wickedly fun ride" and fans are now excited to see the pair reunite.

And if knowing Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans and Ana de Armas wasn't enough, the rest of the cast will also leave you speechless.

A combination of diversity and talent, this cast exudes superiority.

Alongside this elite trio will be another fan favorite, one of the stars of Netflix's period drama, Bridgerton.

Regé-Jean Page is also set to appear in the film but it has not yet been revealed under what guise. The thought alone is good enough though, right?

Naturally, Page rose to stardom after appearing as the handsome Simon Basset, in Netflix's most-watched series.

And his career only seems to be looking bright as he signs his name alongside some of Hollywood's acting veterans.

And to prove that the 200 million dollar budget has gone to good use, check out who else will be making an appearance in the movie...

Black Panther star Alfre Woodard, Billy Bob Thornton, Game of Thrones actress Jessica Henwick, Narcos star Wagner Moura, Dhanush, Julia Butters, and Callan Mulvey are also part of the cast list.

Now tell me you're not excited.

As for now, there hasn't been an official release date yet, but Cosmopolitan reported that it will be airing sometime next year. Filming is set to start very soon but it is heavily dependent on the ongoing pandemic.

We've already seen little hints of pre-production from Armas and Evans and we're expecting to see a lot more in the upcoming months...

So keep your eyes peeled!
