The tragic news came in last week that actress Helen McCrory had died.
Now, her on-screen son Tom Felton has offered an emotional tribute...
She was just fifty-two years old.
The British actress was best known for her roles in critically acclaimed roles such as Clair Dowar in James Bond and as Draco Malfoy's mother in the final 3 Harry Potter movies.
She also played a major role in the hugely successful Netflix series, The Peaky Blinders...
And she has made quite the name for herself in the world of British showbiz.
Tributes have been flooding in for the actress - but none has touched the internet's heart more than Tom Felton's.
Actor Damian Lewis, who married McCrory in 2007, shared a devastating statement on Twitter that said she had died peacefully at home after "a heroic battle with cancer."
"I'm heartbroken to announce that after a heroic battle with cancer, the beautiful and mighty woman that is Helen McCrory has died peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family. She died as she lived. Fearlessly. God, we love her and know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you."
McCrory's cancer diagnosis had been kept private from the public.
And Tom Felton's tribute has the internet feeling emotional once more.
"So sad to say farewell so suddenly - I never took the chance to tell her , but she helped shape me as a person so much - on & off screen - She was always relentlessly herself- razor sharp wit - silver tongued - kind & warm hearted - she suffered no fools yet had time for everyone - thank you for lighting the way forward & holding my hand when I needed it xx"
Rest in Peace, Helen McCrory. Our deepest thoughts and condolences go out to her family during this terrible time.
