The former president has shared his feelings on Nigeria's latest move, banning Twitter.
As we know, Donald Trump was banned from the social media platform in January after he spread misinformation online to his thousands of followers.
Trump praised Nigeria for suspending Twitter last week after they deleted President Muhammadu Buhari's post threatening those he accused of attacking the nation's infrastructure. They also cut off Buhari's account.
"Congratulations to the county of Nigeria, who just banned Twitter because they banned their president," Trump said in a statement.
"More countries should ban Twitter and Facebook for not allowing free open speech — all voices should be heard."
Trump said: "perhaps I should have" banned Twitter and Facebook when in office.
"But Zuckerberg kept calling me and coming to the White House for dinner telling me how great I was," he added, referring to Mark Zuckerberg.
Posting Trump's musings, journalist Andrew Feinberg pointed out that Zuckerberg does not operate Twitter...
"2024," Trump added, hinting at his next run for presidency.

Facebook and Instagram have said that their ban will extend until at least January 2023, whereas Twitter has announced the permanent suspension of the former president.
