But the issue that many people have discovered is how uncomfortable face masks can be...
Especially when they are worn for a long period of time.
This has resulted in some people simply refusing to wear them, or all together, mocking the importance of wearing a mask.
Countless anti-lockdown protests have taken place around the world, with people wanting to "live freely than be oppressed by masks."
Despite this, health experts have stressed their importance over and over again.

A woman from the Bay Area posted a truly horrifying Instagram.
In it, she's abusing an Uber driver while refusing to follow his mask policy.
She even grabs his phone and tries to remove his mask.
San Francisco PD also claim after leaving the car she attempted to spray pepper spray into the vehicle.
