People have been left confused after seeing Wyatt Russell without his iconic beard and long hair. I must admit, I had a bit of a shock when I first saw him but after a little while, you kind of get used to it... Well, if you squint and tilt your screen.

Ever since we heard about The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, we have been patiently waiting for it to drop.
The new show has launched on Disney+, just a few months after Wandavision, another ambitious Marvel superhero spin-off.
Now, if you're a fan of Marvel, then you've probably been anticipating this latest partnership for a while...
But for those of you that aren't aware, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier sees Sam Wilson (played by Anthony Mackie) and James 'Bucky' Barnes (played by Sebastian Stan) join forces to defeat Flag Smashers as they wreak havoc in Europe.
We're only 2 episodes in and things are already getting wild.
The first episode opens up as a continuation from Avengers: Endgame, showing Sam admiring Captain America's (played by Chris Evans) shield which he passed onto the Falcon as an older Steve Rogers.
Just the fact that his photograph was "on the left" of him in the scene was enough to make fans shed a tear.
He then gifts the iconic weapon to Washington DC's Smithsonian museum where it was supposed to remain.
However, Sam soon realizes that has been handed over to a "new" Captain America, a military man.
In a news story, the government announces that even though they remember Steve Rogers for the hero that he was, they have now replaced him stating: "While we love heroes who put their lives on the line to defend Earth, we also need a hero to defend this country."
And that's when we're introduced to John Walker (played by Wyatt Russell).
Even though we're fully aware that they were probably going to try and fill Captain America's boots, it still stings seeing the replacement come through which such confidence.
But even more than that, let's talk about how they replaced Chris Evans with Wyatt Russell.
For those of you that haven't heard of him, Wyatt Russell is is an actor and former professional ice hockey player from Los Angeles, California.
The thirty-four-year-old has a pretty impressive resume.
Before taking on this role in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, he had roles in Overlord, 22 Jump Street, Lodge 49, and Black Mirror.
Don't get me wrong...
Russell is a great pick but can we just acknowledge the fact that they made him play this role without his iconic beard and iconic hair??? And it's even weirder because Russell himself has a very applaudable strawberry blonde look going on.
To be honest, the least they could have done was let Russell keep the beard...
Especially considering Steve Rogers evolved to have the best facial hair in the entire MCU.
And of course, it became a real talking point on Twitter...

I know you’re supposed to hate understudy Captain America, but I really hate him. Also give Wyatt Russell his beard back - he’s not his dad.

Totally understand why, until #FalconAndTheWinterSoldier, Wyatt Russell always had a beard. Nothing against his acting, fan of the family. But I totally understand now.
